Outfit Post: In Love with Wedge

You know one of those things that you admire from afar, but you don’t really think will look good on you? Yea, that’s how I feel about sky high wedges. They seem to be in trend this season and I’ve been lusting after a few of them. I didn’t think they’ll look good on my feet because…get ready for it, are you ready? Ok, I wear size 11. The whole little me has size 11 feet. With that said, it is sometimes hard to find shoes that I love, looks good on my feet, comfortable and at a reasonable price. The thing is most of the brands I’ll go for in a heart beat don’t carry size 11. For example Zara and Aldo, just to name a few. Aldo actually claim they have size 11, but it’s more like size 10. I do have a couple of their shoes though, knowing when I bough them that they are a size smaller. What can I say, a girl wants what she wants. 

 Anyways, Victoria’s Secret is one of the few sure places I know I don’t
have to worry about a fake size 11. Theirs actually fit properly and
they have cute shoes at reasonably prices; which is why about 60% of my
shoes are from VS.

 Back to the real deal. I saw this wedge on VS and I admired it for days.
I finally caved in and bought it. The worse that can happen is to
return it if I don’t like it. I was worried the bands will be too lose
on my ankles and not fit snugly like it’s suppose to. One other thing about being a size 11 with skinny foot and ankles, shoes with ankle bands/strap and boot high to the calf, don’t fit
nicely, they are too loose.

Well, it arrived, I tried it on and I fell in love with it. I couldn’t have been more wrong
about the shoe and did I mention it is super comfy. I guess one of the
beauty of wedges especially high ones is that you never feel how high
they are when wearing it, it’s just like you’re wearing a flat shoe,
which I love. In short this is currently one of my favorite shoes. The
pop of color doesn’t hurt either.
